How did you start working at Romantic Depot?
Over two years ago, I was laid off from the accounting firm that I worked and I was sad but happy because it was a boring life waking up 9-5 like a little hamster in a wheel. Being an owner to a few toys myself, I applied to RD thinking the worst thing that they were not going to hire me because I had no experience in retail. So, I went in for an interview and since I’ve been promoted from sales associate to a supervisor, then to a manager and now, I am the proud general manager of my own store.
What is your favorite adult toy or erotic novelty?
Having over 100,000 toys to choose from I want to scream I love them all but my favorite is the Satisfyer Pro 2 just like the name let’s just say it doesn’t disappoint
Why do you like working at Romantic Depot?
My favorite type of customers are couples who come in to spice up their marriage, whether they have been married for 20 + years or a young couple who just want a weekend full of fun. I love when they come back and they are like OMG your suggestions were amazing! Usually, they tell their friends and come in with a big smile on their face.
What is the craziest wildest thing a customer has asked or done at the store?
I don’t consider any request too wild but I guess, I love when they ask questions. Being a sexologist, I love to guide them in the right direction. Come on in and ask me anything, lol!

How did you start working at Romantic Depot?
WELL …. I always wanted to work here. Honestly, I just never thought I’d get the job. One day I was on Indeed and I was going through the page and just began to apply EVERYWHERE. The next morning I was called for an interview. Throughout my interview, I was literally having a full engaging conversation with a customer. I got the job by just being myself, a year later I became a manager.
What is your favorite adult toy or erotic novelty?
My favorite toy has got to be the VIP Finger Vibe! It allows me to be selfish when I want and makes it easier for my partner to use on me (again being selfish). I also love the fact that it’s a 2for1 toy by taking out the bullet I can add it into a strap or any other toy allowing it to vibrate. On the other hand, it’s a really great toy for nipple stimulation!
Why do you like working at Romantic Depot?
I love the different type of personalities that walk through the doors. My biggest thing about retail is Customer Service! So making someone feel comfortable the second they walk in is my first priority! It’s definitely a great feeling when someone walks in shy and walks out laughing and giggling all the way to their cars enjoying their experience! When THEY are happy so am I 🙂
What is the craziest wildest thing a customer has asked or done at the store?
NOTHING is ever TOO CRAZY at Romantic Depot. When I first started working here, it was summer time and I had my toes out. I was helping out a customer I started noticing he was looking down a lot. Little did I start to notice that he had foot fetish. As we started walking up to the front he asked me to step aside and asked me a question, which I did. I didn’t think anything out of the ordinary until he whispered, “Do you know anywhere I can go to give a foot massage?” He then looked away and then looked back and said “Would you be interested in a foot massage?”

How did you start working at Romantic Depot?
Well at the time I knew the girls who worked here, I would come hang out sometimes and also help when they had extra jobs to do. I started out coming in for just inventory days and a couple weeks after they offered me a sales position job. I am now a manager here at the Romantic Depot Elmsford location and I couldn’t be happier being somewhere where you can continue to grow and be free spirited.

We have such a wide variety of toys but if I had to choose it would probably be this Isa Sucking Lips which is a Romantic Depot toy! It’s really great for females who rather clitoral play. I like working here because it’s a non-judgement zone. It definitely helped me break out of my shell. I like educating customers about what they’re getting, and helping them find toys for themselves or even their partners.
What is the craziest wildest thing a customer has asked or done at the store?
The craziest thing that happened here would probably be when we had a customer who stood in the back for an hour looking at movies and he power walks to the front, drops his movies and says just a minute, I need to use the bathroom and walks out. I looked outside and saw him ran off to our corner behind the store with a bag and toilet paper and I was like OMG and ran out. I had to tell him that wasn’t a bathroom. Normally, Elmsford is known to be the tamest of Romantic Depot stores.
